| 9/24/08
- On or about October 6th,
2008, Lewis Street will be closed between Pinebrook
Road and Megill Road for the replacement of the bridge
over the Wampum Brook. The closure will be in effect
for approximately 14 weeks. Take note of the detour
signs that will mark alternate routes when the closure
occurs. |
10/04/08- Hope Rd. and Industrial Way West -
Installation of the new traffic light
at Hope Rd. and Industrial Way West is complete. The
light is currently on "flash" and will be
fully placed in service on Wednesday, October 8,
2008. |

Phone Use - Primary Stop - As Of March 1, 2008,
the Governor of New Jersey signed into law an amendment to
NJSA 39:4-97.3 which makes the use of a cell phone by a
person who is operating a motor vehicle a primary offense.
This means police may effect a motor vehicle stop upon
viewing this violation. |

car-seat?
The Eatontown Police Department has two car seat technicians
on staff to assist residents in the proper installation and

parking on any street from 2:00 AM - 6:00 AM unless
permission is granted by the police department for exigent
circumstances..

We do not honor
police patch requests.

ticket online through the New
Jersey Municipal Direct website. |
