Swift 911
The Borough of Eatontown has changed its Emergency Notification System to Swift911™. Some contact information, either provided by SwiftReach or from our internal collections, has already been uploaded in the system. However, many of our residents and businesses are not in the system. There are two simple options to opt-in and provide contact information or change the current information we have for you.
Swift911™ Web Portal
At the bottom of this page, there is a Swift911™ link with a logo. Simply click on this link and follow the instructions to provide your information.
Swift911™ Mobile App
To get the Swift911™ Mobile App, simply text the word "Swift911" to "99538." You will receive a response with a link for the Swift911™ Public App within your app store. This app is free and available on most Apple, Android, and Windows smartphones.
Swift911™ has the ability to send messages via telephone, text, or email. It can also have these messages posted to Facebook and Twitter. When you sign up and create an account, you can customize the type of messages you want to receive and how you want to receive them. The messages that may be sent by the Swift911™ system are emergency notifications, utility outages, road closures, community event information, notifications from the school district and severe weather alerts. As we continue to expand our user database and notification types, we hope to keep our community connected and informed.
We can only alert you of an emergency if we have your correct contact information. So please help us in keeping everyone informed. The Police Department realizes that not every database is 100% accurate. Nobody should automatically assume his or her phone number is included. We are encouraging all residents and businesses of the Borough of Eatontown who want to receive emergency notifications to access the Swift911™ website. If you need assistance or have any questions regarding Swift911™, please contact the Eatontown Police Department at 732-389-7626. If at any time you choose to opt-out, please click on the image below.
Depending upon the emergency notification type, please do not call the Police Department for further information unless you have vital information to provide. The emergency notification message will provide information for you to access updates on the situation. This may include television or radio announcements, phone numbers, or internet access.
