Meetings are open to the public. All are welcome to attend. 

There are vacancies for a member representing the Southeast Quadrant and a Member-at-Large.  The Committee also welcomes three members to serve as an Associate member.  If you are interested in volunteering for the Traffic Advisory Committee, please download and submit a completed Citizen Leadership Form to the Borough Clerk.  Please contact the Clerk's Office at (732) 389-7601 or emailing clerk@eatontownnj.com with your questions.

Overview

The Traffic Advisory Committee is composed of seven residents serving three-year terms.  Four members reside in & represent the quadrants, and three members serve as Members-at-Large.  The Committee may choose three Associate members to serve a one-year term, and can fill vacancies as they occur.  The Committee also includes a member of the Traffic Division of the Police Department and one Council Liaison appointed by and representing the Governing Body. 

The purpose of the Committee is to conduct studies and investigations to promote the planning of orderly traffic patterns for lessening congestion and eliminating and reducing traffic hazards within the Borough.  The Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Governing Body, providing information, advice, and recommendations relating to traffic management and safety issues.
