The Blue Envelope Program was created to help those with ASD, as well as Police Officers, in the event of a motor vehicle stop. The primary goal is to aid these drivers with document organization and to educate them about what to do during a motor vehicle stop and guide Officers on how to interact. Enclosed in the Blue Envelope is the Emergency Contact Form with those under care and create a plan customized to the drivers needs.
Blue Envelopes are available at the Dispatch window of the Eatontown Police Department located at the front entrance of the Municipal building. The Dispatch window is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The Blue Envelope Program is sponsored by the Monmouth County Chiefs Association.
